Subverting Apple
One of our Daily Grommet investors told me today that every time he goes in an Apple store he walks around to every computer on display and loads Daily Grommet up on the screen. As large as possible.
Given the landmark 1984 Apple ads, there is some symmetry to his subversion…wiping out the pre-programmed Apple messages and replacing them with a changeable Citizen Commerce site.
When I expressed my surprise (and delight) the investor said, “It’s a natural, your brand and Apple. Just makes sense.”
Given our expectation to someday launch a product for Jobs and Co., this is a nice subverted start.

Ha. I do the same thing when I go to Apple stores… but I do it for Swap.com. I love to then hang around and watch people interface with it. Most dont change it.. just start to play and use the elegant Apple machine!
