I’ve written before how surprising it is to me that people don’t know what industrial designers do, considering we affect many of the products we use (and most of the really good ones).  This new release of stamps honoring Pioneers of Industrial Design will advance the cause a bit, albeit around fairly stylized products as opposed to more complex contemporary work (like mobile phone interfaces and service system design).  I’ll still take it!

I caught this news on Design Daily…their newsletter is a nice bite-sized daily delivery of interesting info or inspiration.
